Initialyze Inc. ("Initialyze," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information entrusted to us.
This Privacy Policy explains how Initialyze collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you interact with our websites, including initialyze.com, our professional services, software products, platforms, applications, events, and other solutions.
Our Products and Platforms
Initialyze builds and operates its own software products and platforms, including Bot Yourself (botyourself.ai), an AI assistant platform created, owned, and operated by Initialyze Inc.
This Privacy Policy applies to Bot Yourself, including SMS communications sent by Initialyze Inc. in connection with the Bot Yourself service.
The Bot Yourself Privacy Policy adds details specific to Bot Yourself, including how it handles AI interactions, SMS messages, and data from services you connect, such as Google user data. Both policies apply to Bot Yourself; if they conflict, the Bot Yourself Privacy Policy takes precedence for Bot Yourself.
When we provide professional services to a client, we usually process that client's data on the client's behalf and under the client's instructions and our agreement with them. In that case, the client's privacy notice governs that data.
This Privacy Policy applies unless a specific Initialyze product or service provides a separate privacy notice.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with Initialyze and which products or services you use. It may include:
- Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, mobile phone number, company, and job title.
- Account and profile information, such as login details, preferences, settings, and account identifiers.
- Information you provide to us, including messages, inquiries, forms, feedback, support requests, job applications, and other content you submit.
- Product and service data, including information generated or provided while using our software, applications, platforms, or professional services.
- Connected-service data, when you choose to connect a third-party service, account, or application, such as Google, to an Initialyze product.
- AI interaction data, such as prompts, conversations, preferences, assistant memory, tasks, and other information you provide to AI-enabled features such as Bot Yourself.
- SMS consent records, such as when and how you opted in to or out of SMS messages.
- Usage and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages or features used, timestamps, diagnostics, and security logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies, which may help us operate our websites, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve our services.
- Event and business-contact information, such as information you provide at conferences, trade shows, webinars, meetings, or other events, including information obtained when you provide your details or allow us to scan an attendee badge.
When you connect a third-party service to one of our products, we may receive information from that service based on the permissions you grant. You may revoke those permissions through the applicable service or product where available.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use personal information to:
- provide, operate, support, and improve our products and services;
- create and manage accounts;
- verify identity, account ownership, and messaging consent;
- personalize user experiences;
- respond to questions, requests, and support inquiries;
- provide AI-powered features and perform actions you request or authorize;
- send service-related communications, including authentication codes, assistant responses, reminders, task updates, confirmations, account notifications, and alerts;
- communicate by email about products, services, events, and business opportunities (we do not use SMS for these communications);
- evaluate job applications;
- understand how our websites, products, and services are used;
- maintain security and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity;
- develop and improve our products, services, and technology;
- comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, and business obligations; and
- protect our rights, users, systems, and services.
Google user data is used only as described in Section 3, and mobile numbers and SMS consent only as described in Section 4.
3. AI Products, Connectors, and Google User Data
Some Initialyze products, including Bot Yourself, use artificial intelligence and offer connectors that let you link third-party accounts such as Google. This section applies to every Initialyze product that accesses Google user data. A product's own privacy policy may add detail; the Bot Yourself Privacy Policy lists exactly which Google data Bot Yourself accesses and why.
Limited Use. Initialyze's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs, including through Bot Yourself, will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access. We request access to Google data (such as Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Calendar, and Contacts) only when you turn on a feature that needs it, and Google's consent screen shows you the exact permissions before you agree. We access only the data needed for the feature you are using.
Use. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features you choose to use, which are prominent in the product. We do not use Google user data to serve advertising, to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models, to determine creditworthiness or for lending, or for any unrelated purpose. We do not sell Google user data or transfer it to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. Our products do not send email, share or delete files, or make other changes in your Google account without your approval.
AI processing. To answer a request, a product may send the minimum relevant portion of your Google data to an AI model provider acting as our service provider. The provider may process it only to return a response and is contractually prohibited from training on it or using it for any other purpose.
Sharing. We share Google user data only with service providers that operate the product for us (cloud hosting, AI model processing, and message delivery), at your direction (for example, an email you approve or an answer delivered to the channel you asked in), to comply with law or protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats, or in a merger or acquisition with your prior consent where required. We never share your Google credentials with anyone.
Human access. Our staff do not read your Google user data unless you give explicit permission for specific data, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations as permitted by law.
Storage and security. Google user data is stored in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, with OAuth tokens and connected-account content protected by per-account encryption keys in a managed key service. Access is limited and logged, and we complete the security assessments Google requires for restricted data.
Retention and deletion. We keep Google user data only while your account is connected and as needed for the features you use. When you disconnect Google in the product, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions, we stop accessing it immediately, delete the tokens, and delete the Google user data and anything derived from it within 30 days (encrypted backups expire within a further 35 days). Deleting your product account deletes it within the same period. You can also request deletion at privacy@botyourself.ai.
Changes. We will ask for your consent before using Google user data in a way not described here.
Across all Initialyze products, content from your connected accounts and your conversations with our AI products is not used to train generalized AI models.
4. SMS and Mobile Messaging
Certain Initialyze products, including Bot Yourself, use SMS messaging.
The Bot Yourself SMS program is used only for transactional, account-related, assistant, and other functional communications that you request or enable. Initialyze does not send marketing or promotional messages through the Bot Yourself SMS program, and does not send SMS on behalf of any third party.
If you provide your mobile phone number and separately consent to receive SMS messages, Initialyze Inc. may use that number to send messages related to your Bot Yourself account and the features you use. These may include account registration and verification codes, AI assistant responses, reminders, task and activity updates, confirmations, account notifications, and alerts.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@initialyze.com. If you opt out, Bot Yourself features that depend on SMS will no longer be available to you.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We may disclose mobile information to service providers that help us deliver messaging, authentication, security, or hosting services, solely as necessary to provide those services on our behalf and under contractual restrictions. These providers may not use your mobile information or messaging consent for their own purposes.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share personal information when reasonably necessary with:
- Service providers that help us operate our business or provide services, such as cloud hosting, communications, AI, analytics, security, authentication, payment, and support providers.
- Third-party services you authorize, when necessary to provide an integration or perform an action you request.
- Professional advisers, such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers where appropriate.
- Government authorities or other parties, when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, safety, or prevent fraud.
- Business transaction participants, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.
For clarity, the sharing described in this section does not permit mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or messaging consent data to be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Google user data is shared only as described in Section 3.
6. Marketing and Events
We may use business contact information to communicate with you about Initialyze products, services, events, insights, and opportunities that may be relevant to you.
This may include information you provide directly to us or information we receive when you interact with Initialyze at a conference, trade show, webinar, meeting, or other event.
Event organizers and conference providers may independently process your information under their own privacy policies. This Privacy Policy describes how Initialyze handles information once we receive it.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.
Initialyze does not send marketing or promotional communications by SMS. Marketing communications described in this section are sent by email only. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging consent are never used for marketing or promotional communications, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for any purpose other than delivering the functional messages you requested. Data from accounts you connect to an Initialyze product, including Google user data, is never used for marketing.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure our websites, remember preferences, understand usage, measure performance, and support analytics and marketing on our websites. You can control cookies through your browser settings and our cookie consent tool. Disabling certain cookies may affect how some features work.
8. Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure, including encryption in transit and at rest.
No system can guarantee absolute security, but we regularly consider appropriate measures based on the nature of the information we process.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, meet legitimate business needs, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain required consent and opt-out records, and enforce our agreements.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements. Google user data is deleted as described in Section 3.
9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your information;
- request a copy or transfer of certain information;
- object to or restrict certain uses of your information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- opt out of marketing communications;
- disconnect third-party integrations;
- opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP; and
- exercise other rights available under applicable privacy laws.

10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without appropriate authorization. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. International Data Processing
Initialyze Inc. is based in the United States. Initialyze and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business, products, services, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date above and, if required by law, provide additional notice of material changes.
